Identification
Forewing variable with up to 18 black spots. (1)
Determined by Dr. Olle Pellmyr, specialist in this group at the University of Idaho.
Range
Eastern United States and the Rocky Mountains from Canada to Arizona. (2), (3), (4), (1)
Season
Adults are most common from May to August.
Food
Larvae feed only on Yucca glauca (soapweed).
