"...albeit a very odd one. The two large squarish spots next to the sutural stripe in the posterior half of the elytra should not be there really. They should be a more or less triangular markings completely fused laterally with the dark sutural stripe. But we have seen these oddities before, and precisely within the C. floridana group. Therefore, since all other (visible) characteristics match the Floridan species, we can accept your identification. Good call!"
