could you please elaborate on how the sp. ID was obtained?
i need to make sure the ID is reliable enough to warrant creation of a new guide page for this species.

H. amplum
I've been using the descriptions provided in Steven Beaty's "The Ephemeroptera of North Carolina." These nymphs are 8mm long, have "shortened leg setae," tarsi which are "slightly dilated apically with wide, pale medial bands," and gills with "rudimentary tracheation." The nymphs do not have forecoxal gills. Photos of these features can be provided.
