ladybug - Brachiacantha dentipes

VERY Eastern Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA
March 12, 2012
Size: 1/8th inch ish

My guess is Brachiacantha dentipes, but ladybugs are so variable I'm not going to put it there unless someone agrees.
Thanks. Lots in this area and many mating pairs.

Yes, Brachiacantha dentipes

Well, everything else aside, this is indeed B. dentipes. It seems a little small, 1/8 inch being in the 3-4 mm range and B. dentipes usually closer to 5-6 mm (~1/4 inch), but it's a male and they're usually at the small end of the size range.

Are you from Tampa?
Do you know what Tampa is like?
Maybe you shouldn't make sarcastic remark's if you don't understand the comment. To me.... it helps describe the location..... as it does for anyone from here.
