Lopidea
It's Lopidea alright. The identification materials I have on hand require dissection of male genitalia for species determination. Since this is a female, and a photograph, Lopidea may be the best you can hope for.

Miridae plant bug.
This is a really awesome shot of a plant bug in the family Miridae. They are abundant and diverse, and identification is difficult unless you are an expert. That said, there is enough detail in this image that it may be possible to get it to genus at least...eventually. Thank you for sharing!

Eric, Thanks for the great s
Eric,
Thanks for the great start. I have been searching based on your input and I believe I have narrowed it down the the genus: Lopidea. There are hordes of species, many of which look very close.
Any ideas on where one could look further, I am kinda having fun with this.
Jim
