How certain are you of this ID? It doesn't look right to me, but I am not sure what species it best fits.

I'm not certain, other than following other variable ID's. There is a large variation between specimens posted both on
MPG
and on
BOLD
.
I'm thinking it would be a big help in sorting out possibly misplaced
Platnota
by revising the See Also field guide pages, much as I did with similar
Archips
. I based my examples on specimens supported by DNA.

Platynota is a difficult group and unfortunately barcoding doesn't separate all of them. I'm slowly going through the Sparganothini armed with the new revision and trying to tidy things up. I think we will have to settle for a best guess for many of the photos.
