Argid sawfly? - Aprosthema brunniventre

Argid sawfly? - Aprosthema brunniventre
Sierra City, Sierra County, California, USA
June 26, 2006
It looks like a sawfly, but I'm not sure if the antennae are right.

I couldn't believe it, there weren't any sawflies in the guide from the whole western half of the country.

It's a new species for the guide, and maybe the first picture of an Aprosthema brunniventre on the internet.

Argidae - Aprosthema brunniventre (Cresson)

Thanks John
Moved from Sawflies.

I think this is an Arge
