Epicaerus imbricatus (Say)

I have checked definitions of subfamilies -
and changed opinion. This rather is an Entimine weevil. Probably same genus (or even species) as this one:

Different appearance is due to body scales largely abraded in this specimen.

Similar species
This is as close as I have found to one that's befuddled me, found only once, late June in groups under knocked loose fallen oak bark, White River NWA, Monroe Co. AR. 11-14 mm, abdomen slightly more elongate, pattern similar with more pronounced light stripe on pronotum with slight margin at base with elytria and small 'horns' on elytria, along with lateral margins on side of pronotum accented with single 'horn' on either side. Antennae similarly clubbed, not elbowed and body length in one specimen. No camera for shots or microscope for better details, or I'd add some good stuff.

subfamily Molytinae, probably
:-)
