Thank you Ken. I thought for sure it would become a butterfly due the brilliant colors but either way I will be enlightened to witness the metamorphosis of the cocoons.

 
Brilliant colors don't necessarily transfer
Brilliant colors don't necessarily transfer from larva to adult. See, for example, Cucullia convexipennis, whose larva looks like this and whose adult looks like this .
