Named for Dr. G. H. Horn, one of the greatest American Coleopterists (Sleeper, 1954)
Length 4.6 mm (Sleeper, 1954)
M. horni is remarkable in having the femoral tooth much smaller than any known species. (Sleeper, 1954)
Type Locality: Holotype female, Morris Ranch, Gillespie Co., Texas, V-7, (in ELSC). One paratype, same data, (in ELSC).
