Therion longipes
Longleaf Flatwoods Reserve (near Cross Creek), Alachua County, Florida, USA
March 22, 2012
Several of these were flying around the flatwoods, seeming to concentrate their attention on clumps of saw palmetto. Identification by Dr. David Wahl of the American Entomological Institute.
