Auplopus caerulescens - female

Auplopus caerulescens - Female
Oak Openings Metropark, Lucas County, Ohio, USA
September 7, 2003
Size: 6 mm
This is obviously one of the metallic green Auplopus Eric has occasionally mentioned in previous comments on images of this genus. Females are difficult to separate. This specimen is actually much brighter, I'm just not a very good photographer. This is not the most brilliant of the genus, that title belongs to A. architectus.
