Finally found one that remained still long enough for me to take some photos. Usually they scurry off into the leaves before I can even get the camera set. I would estimate the size to be around 35mm.

Lithobius forficatus
A common lithobiomorph throughout North America. Based on the size and triangular projections on segments 9, 11, 13.
