Margarinotus guttifer

Margarinotus guttifer
Texas, USA
Size: 5.2 mm
Thanks to Robert Androw of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for providing this specimen for imaging. Labels on specimen indicate Texas as locality, and that the specimen is part of the Henry Ulke beetle collection, CMNH Acc. #1645.

Any further data on how it was collected?
I'm usually not a beetle guy, but this is awesome! I'm in Texas as well..

how collected
no, only one locality tag on it, and all it says is TEX but I now have the specimen here for high res imaging. New image is up.

yay!
I was hoping this would eventually show up.

Thanks!!!

YW
Robert had two specimens in the collection, I will get a measurement of the specimen from him to post size.
