Wow, Alan, great photo. I've got to go back to Florida and see this one again. Is any place/season particularly good for them? I've seen just one, on Big Pine Key. (My so-so photo is on the guide, as I'm sure you saw.)

Caterpillars!
I found dozens of faithful beauty caterpillars on my stephanotis yesterday (I live in Islamorada, Florida Keys). Thanks to this website, I was finally able to ID them. My question is... do they sting? I can't seem to find much information about them.

Hi Jen, I saw your comment from 2015 about the Faithful Beauty moth. I'm researching them now. They do not sting. They do however, have a toxic foam that emits from their mesothorax region to ward off predators.
