Abstract
The distribution and seasonal occurrence of Missouri buprestids are discussed. Keys are presented for the eight subfamilies, 16 tribes, 23 genera, and 131 described species and subspecies known to occur in the state. Three additional species previously recorded from Missouri are excluded. Distribution within the state is cited by counties. Information on collecting techniques, seasonal abundance, and adult and larval host associations is presented and discussed. [empasis added]
