Green lacewing eggs

Green lacewing eggs
Athens/ Sandy Creek Park, Clarke County, Georgia, USA
September 17, 2011
I don't see any pictures in the guide with this kind of ribbed appearance.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Perhaps...
the ribbing is an indicator of imminent emergence?.

I would be incluned to agree
with the interpretation of the striations. As eggs near emergence the larvae become more visible inside.
