Firefly.
Reasonably sure this is a firefly in the genus Pyropyga. They are non-luminescent, or only very weakly luminescent. Head is usually well-hidden by pronotum (the 'shield' with the two red spots), though.

might be a soldier beetle
but a dorsal photo (and size) would be more helpful
