Size: 1 1/2 inch
Poor shot but I couldnt get it settled for long enough. Early for my yard. Unpatterned wings, a second picture shows apparently white stigma.

Thanks, Im looking them over. I dont have any recorded for our pond here. But the very hairy thorax would seem to fit. Wish I had got the better pictures.
