Thanks! I'll add to MPG as well.

We could use a good spread specimen. Your linked image is a bit blown out and detail is lost. Must have gotten the reflection at a bad angle. Perhaps you can replace with another image? I'm guessing BOLD has all the specimens and that's not possible.

You have two others at BOLD, BIOUG00848-A05 and BIOUG00851-E06. The former has a more pale head and thorax which is more typical. The latter is better quality. I'll add those to MPG as well but you might want to post them at BugGuide too with any spreads if possible. Let me know if you do.

Hi Steve
I have added higher resolution images of this specimen. I also adde images for the two additional C. rhombus specimens. Unfortunately I am not very skilled at preparing nice looking micro moths with their wings spread.

Thank you!
I addd all the live images but not the pinned as I felt they might be misleading.

Sample ID?
Can you provide the BOLD Sample ID?

Hi Steve
A species ID to Chionodes rhombus has finally been provided by BOLD Systems for this moth. Links have been provided above. This represents a new species for BugGuide!

Hi Steve
The sample ID is: BIOUG00847-A03
