I wish I had a memory like yours! When I checked the previous photos you mentioned I see that they were taken in early spring also. Interesting. Thanks also for the tip on immature hoppers.

 
Can't credit my memory...
I looked under the Data tab for psyllids from Newfoundland--and there it was! :)
