This specimen may be an example of the Black Cutworm (10663). This specimen was collected and is archived in the NDSIRC at NDSU, Fargo, North Dakota (contact Dr. Gerald Fauske). A tissue sample from this specimen, taken for later DNA analysis, is archived at UND, Grand Forks, North Dakota (contact Dr. Rebecca Simmons).
