Beetle for ID -
Galerita bicolor
La Plata, Charles County, Maryland, USA
April 14, 2012
Size: Body is approx 10cm
Initially we were thinking false blister beetle, but body is a bit more rounded and head a bit more ant-like. Any ideas? Thanks!

Galerita bicolor I believe
This is a species of Galerita, I would say G. bicolor but I'd wait for confirmation on that.
