microscopic yellow bug - Deuterosminthurus nonfasciatus
West Alexander, Washington County, Pennsylvania, USA
April 14, 2012
Size: less than .5mm
I was practicing with my micro lens on a dandelion, and found quite a few of these tiny creatures. I could not get a better photo, sorry for the poor quality...a larger bug came along that looked similar but larger and a bit darker yellow, I assume these are some sort of nymphs...they didn't look like aphids to me, but they could be?
