I don't know how, but all but
I don't know how, but all but one of the caterpillars I was rearing have disappeared. The one that didn't drowned in the water that was keeping the grape branch alive. Next time I'll add some tissue or something around the stem.

I have no idea what happened to the others. They were contained in a butterfly keeper.

Good idea. I used a beer bott
Good idea. I used a beer bottle into which 4 grape stems were inserted. That didn't leave much room, but it was enough for one caterpillar to pass.
