Clypastraea ? - Clypastraea lunata

Clypastraea ? - Clypastraea lunata
Middleburg, Clay County, Florida, USA
March 30, 2012
Size: 1.3mm
This little guy was lodged under the wing cover of a 11mm Lichen*ophanes bicornis. He dropped out when I was
pinning the larger beetle. I suspect it got trapped as they both landed on a black light sheet.
Don't know where to start. Can't see the ant at 45X and I think the T's are 5-5-5.
Weakly opaque on both ends w/those two faint cream colored macula on after third of elytra. Would one of you
smart guys please get me started!
