Desert Katydid? - female

Desert Katydid? - Female
Salt Creek Hills ACEC, San Bernardino County, California, USA
April 16, 2012
Size: ~ 2.5 cm BL
Found in the latrine in a desert area just south of Death Valley. It seems to be a female katydid? Can't find a match - perhaps I've got the wrong group... It was on the ceiling, so I couldn't get close enough for a really good macro shot.

female nymph Shieldback Katydid
but I'm not sure the species. Reminds me of Capnobotes, but could easily be something else.

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.
