Dahana atripennis…
The caterpillar is described as being gray in color with white dorsal and ventral longitudinal stripes. The final instars have a brown head capsule. It is indigenous to Florida and feeds mainly on Spanish moss. BugGuide does not have an image of the larva at this time, but you can see comparison images of larvae
here.
