Size: 6-7mm
I'm thinking one of the Sphaeromiini midges, only does not look like any on BG. I find little info on web. Thanks

Don't know
Wrong size for the most similar species I know of. If it has spines under the last segment of each foot it is Sphaeromiini.

, last night, and measured actual length of wing of that specimen at 4.6mm.
