1mm Round Green Eggs

1mm Round Green Eggs
Soquel, Santa Cruz County, California, USA
April 19, 2012
Size: 1mm each
Discovered in my covered patio. Many kinds of moths and other insects frequent this area at night due to the lights.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

they look like moth eggs
you can move the babies if you catch them hatching..carefully

...The funny thing is that it could be Lophocampa maculata
While there have been many different moths in that corner, there were a couple of Lophocampa maculatas there motionless (as far as I could tell) for days on end.

I know you know about Ken's study. If they hatch, I will definitely try to document their color patterns...
