Size: 2.4 cm ws as posed
Found in upstairs corridor at Yosemite Lodge (elev. ~4000 ft., 1220 m), where it had marooned itself indoors near a light. Relocated to a tree trunk after 24 hours and photographed.

Species?
Among the images at the link on the guide page, this looks most like V. obsoleta.

 
Venusia are tough in the west
Venusia are tough in the west and I am unfamiliar with them there so I am reluctant to put a specific name on them.
