Tunnel Wolf - Pardosa - Male
White Fox, Torch River, Saskatchewan, Canada
April 2, 2012
Size: 8 mm
Found at the top of tunnels close to foundation, this type of spider is plentiful along the south side of the house on sunny afternoons, Temp. 5C or warmer. (41 F)
To catch, slip a trowel into the ground below him and pushed into a bottle. As if the entire escape strategy was to go down, with that gone he basicaly stood still.

Thank you Kevin. 18 Pardosa listed here,
Search the internet and seven of them don't return an image.
I don't think I've seen a match in the 11 available. For now this spider is in a 3 sq. foot tub with sod, away from the birds and frost.
In a month or two it should be ready to ID. I can post before and after moult images then.
