Tenthredinidae, Nematinae
Hoplocampa testudinea (Klug). One of the few species of Hoplocampa that can be identified from a photo. Larvae of this species live and feed in developing fruits of apples and possibly other fruits. An introduced species; first found in NY in 1939.
