I am thinking she is a Carolina Wolf Spider (Hogna carolinsis) with her babies on her back or abdomen. I was so excited to get a photo of the parent with the little ones.

Hogna lenta
I was browsing on the Hogna page and came across this beauty. It appears to be a Hogna lenta. The coloration and size match the description. Plus, it is within H. lenta range.

Is no one going to comment or help ID this spider? This has been up for a while. I thought if I put up the question someone might see it. I think it just got overlooked before. :(

yes, you are correct it is Lycosidae! And nice image. Spider with young I think is a fine addition to the site.
