Small Black-Blue iridescent Beetle - Phaedon purpureus
Cooper Creek Road, E of Mammoth, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
April 3, 2012
Small Beetle; appears similar to Leaf Beetle (Chrysolina schaefferi) which I found in a nearby area the previous year, but unsure on how to ID. Elev 3800 feet, dry Sonoran Desert area.
