another Riffle beetle - Stenelmis

another Riffle beetle - Stenelmis
Medford, Burlington Co. (~15 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) County, New Jersey, USA
July 11, 2006
Size: ~2.3mm
came to UV light. Appears different than thousands of others attracted - only example of this one thus far.

Moved
Moved from Stenelmis bicarinata. Not S. bicarinata, which doesn't have the vittae embracing the humeral shoulders. Could be S. cheryl (replacement name for what was considered bicarinata in older keys) or one of several similar species.

Moved
Moved from Riffle Beetles.

Stenelmis bincarinata
After keying with Downie and Arnett, I believe this is Stenelmis bicarinata LeConte 1852.
