Hackberry Emperor? - Asterocampa celtis - male

Hackberry Emperor? - Asterocampa celtis - Male
Seminole, Seminole County, Oklahoma, USA
April 25, 2012

Yes
Hackberry -- the only other Emperor in your area would be the Tawny, which lacks forewing eyespots and has two solid bars in the lower front part of the forewing, rather than one solid and one broken on this guy.
