Moth from big hatch? Noctuidae? - Euxoa auxiliaris

Moth from big hatch? Noctuidae? - Euxoa auxiliaris
Santa Fe Community College, Santa Fe County, New Mexico, USA
April 25, 2012
Size: About 2.5 cm long
This was one of the many moths inside the building where I work, but it looks a bit different from the other one I photographed and from pictures of Euxoa auxiliaris. Just more variation in that species? Or something that happened to be about the same size and shape and show up at the same time?

Thanks
for identifying this one and the other one. That was fast!
