Original description is online as Cerostoma flavistrigella in print references.
Range
Alberta to Texas and west to California.
Type locality: USA: California, Coso Valley.

Adults records are mostly from April to October.
Food
Larval host is willow, Salix L. (Ives & Wong 1988)
