Corythucha morrilli
Thanks Vassili. Looks like another Corythucha morrilli. The serrated edges (marginal spines) noted by Lon are one of the diagnostic characteristics of the genus Corythucha.

Thank you Ken
I'll change the title so as to not confuse the search function (although perhaps it helps other errant searchers like me).

Personally...
I've found "wrong guess" titles quite helpful in searching for and identifying unknown bugs. But changing (or not) is a personal decision, and I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other.

agree with Ken on all counts
i, too, have grown to realize the utility of such 'wrong guess' titles: they help editors figure out what gets mistaken for what, and consider adding those perceived lookalikes to the 'see also' section of guide pages.
but redacting the embarrassing part out is indeed an unalienable right of the contributor. during my early days on BG i did destroy evidence of my own blunders on several occasions, although not of the most disgraceful ones: those i kept to remind myself of my fallibility :]
