Wondering
whether these might be Blue Dashers because of the "amber" patches on the wings. Also, thorax color of female. I hope someone much more versed in dragon IDs will weigh in to clarify.

 
I agree
I received a rather thorough education on blue dashers from John and Jane. The female doesn't have the all green thorax of the other females in the guide for Eastern Pondhawks. Compare here:
