Wolf Spider - Possible Hogna - Tigrosa aspersa - female

Wolf Spider - Possible Hogna - Tigrosa aspersa - Female
St. James, Phelps County, Missouri, USA
April 26, 2012
Size: 1" body - 2 1/2" legspan
From looking around, I believe this to be Hogna aspersa. I know at last wolf spider posting, I was told there were no wolf spider experts on here, but hoping that someone can confirm or deny my educated guess. I captured this wolf spider with egg sac to house it until the spiderlings hatch. I am keeping it in my 5th grade classroom as a learning experience for my students. I would love to be able to give a species identification to the kids.
