Tiger Moth - Apantesis nais - male

Tiger Moth - Apantesis nais - Male
Fontenelle Forest, Bellevue, Sarpy County, Nebraska, USA
April 28, 2012
Size: approx. 20mm
At first we thought this was a Nais Tiger Moth, but after further study and seeing the distribution maps on BugGuide, it seems more likely to be Harnessed Tiger Moth. Since these are all very similar and difficult to separate we need help. We're sending another very similar tiger moth caught at the same time. See #635633. Thanks for any help.
