Bot fly that came into home thru open door, midday. Cuterebra Fontinella fontinella, as id'd by Jeff Boettner. Laying eggs at a frightful rate in specimen container, and one can be seen on the hind leg in rear detail picture. First for Louisiana.

i only know how to load pics via ID Request, and have never tackled the next step of actually moving images. Also thought it might be useful for folks unfamiliar with Bots to see the images before they were in the more "hidden" realm of Bot files. Will move later, when i have time to investigate the process in more detail, unless someone more facile at the steps, wants to move the pics.
Glad you enjoyed. Appears to be a first for Louisiana which is always fun, and Jeff plans to do some DNA analysis as well.

feel free to post reliably ID'd items directly to the guide

same procedure as posting to ID Request: navigate to the target page (in this case, C. f. fontinella(1)) >> switch to the 'Images' tab >> click the 'add image' link
to move pix: click 'tag all' >> navigate to the target page >> switch to the 'Images' tab >> click the 'move tagged images' link

these things have to be in the Help section, though
