Size: ~12mm
Jane went into the visitor center to learn about the sanctuary. John got his camera ready and found this first bug right in the parking lot. We assume this is the Wild Olive Tortoise Beetle larva.

I'm officially jealous.

 
They are exotic looking, aren't they?
Wish I had gotten a little more perpendicular. He's not quite all in the same plane.
