Jalapeno stowaway - Anthonomus eugenii

Jalapeno stowaway - Anthonomus eugenii
Vancouver area, British Columbia, Canada
January 5, 2012
Size: 2mm
My girlfriend found this little weevil inside a jalapeno pepper she brought home. The jalapeno was from Mexico, so it might not be a northern species.
It looks like a pear-shaped weevil (Apioninae (1)) to me, but unlike any species I found in the guide.

Thanks
Thanks for the quick id! I'll have to be more careful in my id's (and more thorough in my guide searches)! :)

Anthonomus of sorts
Apioninae have non-geniculate antennae
