Can you confirm date of observation?
Hi Dick.

I've been reviewing a bunch of online records to try and get a feel for when the flight period is for this species in WA. The middle of August would represent a far later date in the season than I imagined. I'd be grateful if you could just confirm that the date is indeed correct. Thanks so much!

Harsi,

Yes .. I photographed this adult on Aug 17, 2011. Most cinnabar adult moths I have seen are in May however. I sent this specimen to BOLD also. If I could send a .jpg photo I could show the other moths I kept that day and readied or DNA sequencing. Oh .. will try to send to your email.

Dick
