Identification
The species of Titanebo are larger and can be further distinguished by the higher clypeus, denser leg scopulation, non-reduced leg spiniformation, and non-reduced VTA of the male palpus. (Schick 1965)
albocaudatus - female 4 mm, male 3.75 mm, allatal stripe discinct, anterior half of dorsum with dark gray markings and erect spiniforms, but posterior half a sharply delimited white area lacking spiniforms.
andreaannae - female & male 5 mm, allatal stripe present, cardiac mark with prominent lateral extensions (like mexicanus), lateral stripe short only on anterior half of abdomen, paramedial stripe an elongated area of gold scales similar to albocaudatus but gold-colored.
californicus - female & male 4 mm, abdomen dark gray, cardiac mark more slender than mexicanus and without prominent lateral extensions.
