ocellate 2 - Omalium rivulare

ocellate 2 - Omalium rivulare
Tippecanoe County, Indiana, USA
October 29, 2007
Size: 2.9 mm
Berlesed from fungus. Omalium sp. I suppose??

Pair of longitudinal furrows on center of pronotum; front of head has metallic blue/purple sheen.

Moved from Ocellate Rove Beetles. Yep, Omalium rivulare. It lives in all kinds of rotting stuff :-)

Thanks for all the ID's!
