Esthesopus praeditus
Identification made by examination of voucher specimen. The specimen is a male and examination of diagnostic genitalia possible.

Esthesopus yes...
In this larger image I can see tarsal pads. In the Southeast, there are two black species, E. claricollis and E. praeditus. Examination of male genitilia is the only way to separate them.
